Sumitomo CYPRIS® HM-12
Radio-tracers such as 18F-FDG, etc. are essential for PET* which is a useful imaging tool for diagnosis of cancers, brain diseases, heart diseases, etc. These special chemical compounds are produced by labelling short-life radioisotopes (RI) generated by cyclotron. Sumitomo provides PET radio-tracer production system with high quality and stability.
* PET: Positron Emission Tomography
Can accelerate 2 types of particles (Proton 12 MeV; Deuteron 6 MeV)
Flexible target configuration with max. 8 targets (4 targets x 2 ports)
Simultaneous irradiation is available.
High production capacity with high current beam and targets for clinical and R&D
